The 2026 Opendoor Pickleball World Championships reach the Round of 16 today, Thursday, November 5, at Invited's Brookhaven Country Club, 3333 Golfing Green Drive in Farmers Branch. The pro bracket closes Sunday with Championship Sunday finals. The club sits just north across LBJ Freeway from Schreiber Manor. LBJ is also the northern edge of the Schreiber community area on the City of Dallas neighborhood organization list.
The closer link sits in the parking plan. All general event parking is at Dallas College Brookhaven Campus, Lot P3, 3939 Valley View Lane, and that address carries a 75244 ZIP code. One of the two hotel shuttle routes runs out of the Galleria. Pickleball's biggest week moves its visitors through the roads and landmarks Schreiber Manor uses every week. That puts the neighborhood inside the event's footprint, close enough to treat the last four days as a drop-in event.
How big the week has gotten
This is the fourth straight year the championships have been played at Brookhaven. A PPA Tour release called the 2025 event its third consecutive year at the club, and the 2026 site lists the same venue again.
The crowd numbers explain why the logistics look the way they do. That same PPA release cited a Farmers Branch economic impact study putting 2024 attendance above 57,500, with $15.7 million in local economic impact. For 2025, the PPA reported more than 60,000 attendees, a step up from the year before. The 2024 and 2025 figures come from different sources, so they aren't a perfect comparison. Both point the same way, though. Tens of thousands of people come to a country club tucked inside a residential street grid, and the event has had to plan where every one of them parks.
The crowd is routed around the neighborhoods, not through them
The 2026 plan moves the crowd to the edges. Here is the setup from the official PPA Tour event page:
- General parking: Dallas College Brookhaven Campus, Lot P3, 3939 Valley View Lane. Free shuttles run between the lot and the venue entrance, with estimated hours of 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily through November 8. Shuttles start about 30 minutes before gates open and stop about 30 minutes after they close.
- Rideshare: Uber and Lyft pickups and drop-offs happen only in the designated zone on Brookhaven Drive, in the far-right lane just past Golfing Green Drive.
- East (Green) hotel shuttle: Serves the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas near the Galleria, with a stop at each hotel.
- West (Orange) hotel shuttle: Picks up at 5 Mira Lago Boulevard, at a shuttle tent between Renaissance Dallas North, Hampton Inn & Suites Farmers Branch Dallas, Candlewood Suites Dallas NW and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas NW.
- On-site parking: Only Box Suite ticket holders get it. Everyone else uses Lot P3.
- Accessibility: At least one shuttle serving the Dallas College lot is ADA accessible each day, and guests can also use the designated drop-off spot.
Farmers Branch handles the streets right around the club. From October 30 through November 8, non-residents can't park on a list of nearby streets, and signs read "No On Street Parking, Resident Parking By Permit Only." The list includes Brookhaven Club Drive between Prestwick Drive and Webb Chapel, Prestwick Drive, Longmeade Drive, Crestmoor Drive, Green Acres Terrace, and parts of Golfing Green Drive and Braemar Drive, among others. The city's resident guide to the event has the full list.
So Brookhaven's own side streets are closed to outside parking, the crowd parks on Valley View, and many out-of-town visitors stay near the Galleria. For anyone driving up from Schreiber Manor, plan on Valley View Lane and Brookhaven Drive as the busy corridors this week, and plan on parking at the Dallas College lot like every other ticket holder.
The last four days, court by court
The pro draw narrows each day through Sunday. Pro first serve is 11 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. on Championship Sunday. Gate times hadn't been posted when the PPA published its order of play.
| Day | Pro draw | Also on court | Watching from home |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thursday, Nov. 5 | Round of 16 | PPA Challenger Showdown singles pool play; MUNICIPAL Celebrity Pickleball Showdown at 7 p.m. | PickleballTV; Tennis Channel for the evening showdown |
| Friday, Nov. 6 | Quarterfinals | Challenger Showdown men's, women's and mixed doubles pool play | PickleballTV |
| Saturday, Nov. 7 | Semifinals | Challenger Showdown semifinals and finals in all events | PickleballTV |
| Sunday, Nov. 8 | Championship Sunday finals | None listed | PickleballTV |
The Challenger Showdown has a lot riding on it. It wraps up the PPA Challenger Series season, and it invites the highest-ranked players who don't have a PPA Tour contract. Eight of them leave Brookhaven with a 2027 PPA Tour contract.
Tonight's exhibition is the event's headline night. Mark Wahlberg leads the MUNICIPAL Celebrity Pickleball Showdown on Powerball Championship Court, where celebrities and sports personalities play alongside the tour's top pros. It starts at 7 p.m. Central and airs live on Tennis Channel. The official Worlds site sells separate tickets for it.
The grounds pass is the neighbor's ticket
The championship court is the marquee seat, and the PPA notes that morning and evening sessions there are ticketed separately. A grounds pass covers the outer courts all day. It includes all-day admission, viewing areas for every amateur match, select pro matches off the championship and pro showcase courts, vendor displays, the Pickleball Central superstore, and the concerts and events on Pickleball Blvd. The weeklong grounds pass starts at $100 before fees. Single days have their own listings and prices on the ticketing site.
That pass is what lets you treat the week as a drop-in. The PPA's daily programming lists clinics, King of the Court sessions, round robins and meet-the-pro sessions every day, with all times local and subject to change. The back-half lineup gives each day its own feel:
Thursday, Nov. 5. Pickle Cup Pong from 10 to 11:30 a.m. King of the Court runs 2 to 3:30 p.m. for levels 3.0 to 3.5, then 3:30 to 5 p.m. for 4.0 to 4.5. Queen's Court with a DJ follows from 6 to 8 p.m. for levels 4.0 to 4.5.
Friday, Nov. 6. King of the Court sessions run through midday, then a Wooden Paddle Tourney from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. A cowboy-themed Rowdy Round Robin runs 6 to 8 p.m. for level 3.5. Friday is also the big night on Pickleball Blvd, which has live music daily November 1 through 7. On Friday an opening act and DJ start at 6 p.m. and a headliner takes the stage at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 7. This is the most family-friendly day on the schedule. A Kids Intro to Pickleball class runs from 11 to 11:30 a.m., Meet the Pro at noon and Play with the Pro at 1:30 p.m. for level 3.0. A Parent and Child Round Robin closes the day from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 8. Finals start at 10 a.m. The PPA lists no drop-in programming for Sunday, so the day belongs to the championship matches.
The venue map includes a Food Court. If you'd rather stay home, every court streams live on PickleballTV, and the PPA's MATCHDAY app carries live scores, brackets and the order of play.
When the shuttles stop, the Galleria takes over
Worlds wraps up Sunday, and the Galleria's holiday season is gearing up the same week. Galleria Dallas scheduled installation of its 95-foot tree from November 1 to November 5, so it should be finished as the pro bracket hits the Round of 16. Santa arrives November 13, and professional tree photos run November 13 through December 27, according to Local Profile's holiday preview. The ice-skating Grand Tree Lighting Celebration plays at noon on November 27, November 28 and December 5, per the Galleria's event page. Local Profile's preview lists the third show on December 6, so check the Galleria's page before planning around that one.
If the week sends you looking for a court of your own, At Fault at 2330 Jett Street in Farmers Branch has nine courts, five indoor and four outdoor. It's open to the public, takes walk-ins, and lets you book without a membership.
If Worlds week has you thinking about Schreiber Manor's spot between Brookhaven, Valley View and the Galleria, or about which streets get busy during a week like this one, I'm glad to talk it through.
